The greatest all-around competitor in the history of his sport the world class swimmer Michael Fred Phelps was born in America on the 30th of June 1985. He has won for himself 14 career Olympic Gold Medals, the most by any Olympian. As of 2008, he also holds seven world records in the sport of Swimming.

Phelps has the honor of winning record numbers of gold medals at a single Olympics after he won 8 medals at the Olympics 2008. This huge achievement made the super star surpass Mark Spitz, who was also a swimmer and had held the previous gold medal total with the seven that he won’t at 1972 Munich Olympic Games.

After the Olympics 2008 people were mad after this sports super star. Thousands of people wanted to see a glimpse of him and speak to him. His fans were crazy after him and wanted to reach the star and know him better.
